Brand new mix by my man Smutlee in London. Dancehall and funky all the way, with big hits from both genres mixed with lesser known tunes and exclusive blends.

So over the last couple of months I've turned into this Ghislain Poirier fan. As far as internet club shit with some sense goes, this has been one of the best tracks all year and the first leak from the forthcoming Face-T & Ghislain Poirier mixtape is kind of bangin as well.
Club remixes of tried and true hip hop classics have been all over the place recently, but not many hit like my man Grandtheft's sick new Gang Starr rework. This comes highly recommended.

Demarco: Standing Soldier Remix

The Bladerunners' Champ remake has been one my jams this spring. It's finally out on a 12" too, so act like you know. Here's the bangin' Funky Drummer version that didn't make it to vinyl.Labels: '08, Club, internet, Philadelphia

This has been out there for a minute now, but definitely still needs more spins. Dude is a good rapper and Ayres' subtle club approach works well, turning the song into a very cool little hip house jam. This is the remastered version that plays real real nice too.Labels: '08, Rap, Remix, Washington DC
The anticipated second remix album by my fellow HKI deejay dudersons Top Billin will be finally out next week. This time the EP includes a bunch of outside productions, among them Work It by The Rub's world famous DJ Ayres and a new jack swing club remix called Nothing But A Party by yours truly.
Just picked up the bangin new Tony Matterhorn tune on Massive B's Go Go riddim. Amazing.
