Time for some local DJ history. My old friend DJ Kelloggs just hit me with a mixtape rip from '97 and as I've been hearing about the mix for a long time of course I had to post it, too. It's called Basement Soul Volume 1 and it's by my man
DJ Newhouse. The whole thing is a prime example of the kind of deep and soulful house sound he's always been known for. It's recorded in one take too, with no editing whatsoever. Respect.
